There is a connection because day events are in the sun and you can take your shirt off to reveal musculature and tattoos. The day events often feature dance/trance. Most participants use X to enhance appreciation of music and company much like the use of peds to enhance a physique. The morality concerning use of drugs is already surpassed whether one starts with peds and to X or X to peds is in question.

I am not sure where the connection arises. It could be these people bodybuild because they are interested in improving their appearance at these events due to prior enjoyment of this style of music. Or bodybuilders start going to these events primarily with the  motive of showing off their body in the hopes of attracting attention and thus develop an enjoyment of the music.

For the most part the connection between trance/dance music and bodybuilding is minor.

ZYZZ
Its not just Zyzz,  I had some bodybuilder friends from the gym and they were all about Dance/Trance music, wearing club clothes all the time etc...  I have also seen it widespread on the boards.

An inclination for the aforementioned trio evidences an intelligent quotient of less than three digits.  Hope this helps.

it always seems like you get these extremely muscular guys in their late 20s and early 30s going to these events with their shirts off... hanging around with late teens and early 20s its very lame in my opinion.

I think its the opposite. People that really appreciate those genres of music tend to be more intellectual, rather than someone who just listens to rap. (note: I like all kinds of music including rap) Rap has faded in recent years, and I lean more towards 80's, 90's, and Electronic music these days.

The intelligence of a lot of bodybuilders does seem to be somewhat limited..guys like Zane, Arnold, Mentzer...and Myself of course are pretty rare in this subculture. Therefore it's only natural that these current roid using simpletons would be drawn to mindlessly wiggling about to some primitive beat.

I agree with you on this posting. I listen almost exclusively to Trance with some Hardstyle mixed in for workouts. I can stand some rock sometimes, that is about it really. I would not consider myself close minded, but I see rampant materialism being shoved down the throats of the hungry masses and my natural inclination is to get very far away from that whole scene.

Also, and this is poorly understood, Trance is modern day Classical music. It is written the same in fact.

I mean, this is PERFECT music IMHO.

Meanwhile the mouth breathers get all excited over this

Look at the difference in the numbers of views of each I mean, what can you really say about that? Would you REALLY prefer lil john over the video I posted? Listen to both and tell me what you think.

On a day to day basis I find it very strange that many, MANY people strongly prefer rap but I have gotten immune to it over the years. You cannot change people. They are sheep at heart and I am just very thankful to have been born to march to a different drum...

Trance is good stuff...great for working out and also great for when you're off your face with your mates having a laugh.
