So you have your own sources what comes to history? Well, let me update your records with the crash course:

1. Columbus (European) find new continent
2. Few ships was loaded by British(European) and sail there to start to settlement
3. While doing that, they kill just about all native Americans, the Indians
4. More people comes to the country, mostly from Europe, but also few million slaves from Africa
5. Even more people comes to the country, mostly from Europe
6. In WW2 they fight among the allies, and help Russians beat the Germany, and Russians will be first in Berlin, which stops the war.
7. This start endless blah blah how Americans single handed win the war, and help Europeans.

So, if you read carefully, you can find out few things. First of all, while most of you guys have ancestors in Europe, you can say in WW2 American Europeans save Europe under the flag of USA. There wasn't many Indians fighting for their country, so fighting was mostly done by immigrants. Truth is that you owe your whole nation to Europeans, and you shall not forget that. In WW2 is common fact, that Russians did most of the work beating Hitler, because of the Hitlers ambition to concur Moscow. Hitler push his groups to the freezing winter of Russia, and by doing that, lost his edge to the war. They have to run back to Germany and Russians keep sure that they have enough speed and motivation to run all the way to Berlin, with the support of other allies. There is no doubt that Americans do great job to end the war, but fact is that Russians have bigger role saving Europe. What we really have gratitude about, is what happens after the war, when Americans help Finland and rest of the Europe by providing food and accessories to us. With this they help Europe get their economy back on it's feet, industry running etc. and by this we owe a lot to Americans.

What comes to present time, it's another way around. America has great debt to China and European countries, and while USA is going to bankruptcy, European countries will suffer great depression because of that. In fact you bloody fuckers have such an idiotic economic system, which allows bank steal all its assets without any sanctions, and they do just that. That's why there will be raining shit all over Europe for long time ahead, our industries die and our economy collapse. This depression will be more devastating than all before it put together, so in few years from now we can easily say, that America killed Europe, and there is no way to stop this. Your capitalistic system is crazy and it will also kill your country, but you fuckers are too stupid to see that. America is like fucking rich teenage child with guns, running around shooting here and there, using his money to drugs and booze, and with no future what so ever.

It was the USSR who bore the brunt of the German assault and was most key in defeating them.

The fact is that the bombing raids that the British were doing at the time were largely ineffective and if the US hadn't joined the war, then Hitler would have had basically free reign over Europe and would have been able to focus completely on taking out the Red Army.

Even if America's intervention did defeat the Nazi's, the USSR'S efforts were equal if not more important in doing so.

Only two Superpowers that world has ever seen fought side by side for a common goal. Confrontation between them only started after the WW2.

The oilfield that you speak of was an issue far into the war after the troops landed on D-Day, so while that is a good point, I don't think it matters for this point of discussions.

Remember, I'm simply speaking of "what ifs".

What if, the German's could have sent their entire force into the USSR and not had to worry about the West what so ever?

There are also other what ifs... "What if" Hitler had simply bypassed Stalingrad? If he had simply gone around it and gotten over the River, the city would have been under siege with zero supplies and he could have turned north to Moscow and had a two pronged attack on that city.

Had Hitler used common sense, instead of pride, he would have simply surrounded Stalingrad, marched into Moscow and the "eastern front" would have looked different ever since.

That would have given him the southern oil fields as well, without Moscow, the USSR would have been in complete disarray.

Finland used both sides... That's all there is to it... Smart, very smart, but they didn't really "fight".

In the beginning when the Nazis and Soviets signed their treaty, Finland was given over to the USSR, however, once Germany invaded, Finland allowed Germany to use it's sky ways to bomb the USSR.

Basically, they were part of the AXIS powers at that point, no need to take them over.

Once the next election turned, the new President opened negotiations with the USSR and then turned on Germany sometime in 1944.

It's just the way shit went down.

The Fins saw the way the wind was blowing and used it to their advantage.
