lol I always get a good laugh out of the winter soldiers who cry after they done their service ::) what were you expecting - that you
are the knight in shining armor? This is war its brutal and its unforgiving.
The aspect that soldiers did not know what was waiting for them was a well made argument back in WW1 and WW2 but with war loosing its face of glory in vietnam (the first well covered war ever via the new channels) this surely cannot come as a surprise anymore.

But still these guys complain and bitch etc.

I tell you who I have massive respect for the - the vets that do their service than point out what they thought was wrong be it chain of command or decisions made by their superior officers but recognize the fact that nobody forced them to sign up - they have PTSD like so many but they get on with their lives but take any opportunity to challenge the status quo so we don't make the same mistakes again.

You should look into some of the conditions of VA hospitals, then.  ;)

yep I am aware of that and I am in no denial that some of the vets do not receive the proper medical attention they deserve.
They didn't get back in the Vietnam war and now its patchy at best.
But it aint torture.
