i like christie and would vote for him in a heartbeat over every GOP except Rpaul and bachmann, and certainly over obama in the general

HOWEVER

in my analysis of GOP candidates, seeing him look like 350 pounds of shit in 150 pounds of pants, I don't think swing voters would choose him.  I just dont.

maybe you believe 2% of voters won't skip him because he sweats a lot and looks like a before/after picture standing next to obama... but I do.  it's not about 180's preference, it's about what 2% of the population would do.

A new Quinnipiac poll in New Jersey finds Gov. Chris Christie with an upside down approval rating, 44% to 47%.

Key findings: Women disapprove of the job Christie is doing 54% to 36%, while men approve 53% to 39%, a 17-point gender gap.

Said pollster Maurice Carroll: "Christie is having a big problem with women, perhaps because they care more about schools and disapprove 60% to 34% of the way he's handling education."
