So under George Bush those 80 Percent, who you said were not employable now, were employable then?
Why is that so?
They were in mainly fluff positions and not vital to the existence of the companies. No one needs more secretaries, paper filers, and people to sit around and answer the phone.
Companies need aggressive rain makers and highly competent networkers who generate business and sales. Most of these peoples' first question will be - DO I GET HEALTHCARE, HOW MUCH VACATION, WHAT BENES YOU OFFERING?
Do you think a business right now wants a fat pos who has been out of work for 2 years who is going to just sit there and eat a paycheck and capital and give little back in return? No!
If you are standing in a line with 5,000 other schlubs - you are not getting a job any time soon.
Another thing - between ObamaCare and the massive increase on business for UE costs and contributions, no business in their right mind is going to hire anyone unless absolutely vital to their operation. That is not the people standing in line with 5,000 others.
You economic illiterates on this board can attack me for saying this, but its the truth whether you want to hear it or not. You fools have economic delusions based on the bullshit you were spoonfed over the years, and its sad to see how many people are disconnected with the reality of the situation we are in.
