He's a much better speaker than Romney and Bachman is already exposed and unelectable. Perry is an extremist and has no shot on a national level.
Whether it's what's best for the country or not doesn't matter, Obama will surface as the only electable candidate for the masses, that's what it boils down to. No one else is electable. Trump or Palin would've had the best chance against him and Palin is too simple.
I've already settled to doing what's best on a homefront level to get by in life. The bigger picture isn't going to get better in this generation.
Debates aren't the same as campaign speeches. Do you really believe Obama is a good debater?
Even if we were talking about speaking ability, do you believe he's a great speaker without his teleprompter?
If you're talking about electability, the man is clearly in deep kim chee. The economy has gotten worse. Unemployment is worse. Gas prices are higher. Rather than end wars, he expanded one and started a third. His single biggest achievement is going to be deemed unconstitutional by the supreme court. His poll numbers stink, especially when it comes to the crucial independent voters. The stimulus was a colossal failure. He will not be able to run against Bush or the Iraq war this time around. He has no solid record of his own to run on. You consider that electable?
