Arkansas State Results

Figured i'd post this out of boredom. The lighting was really bad at this show. The "brown" curtain was black in person. I won my class and got another requalification for nationals. I was runner up for yet another year only this time i felt the loss was worthy. It was a 1 point decision. Here are the pics. Definitely not my best conditioning. I was very self conscious the whole show and thought i wasn't even going to win my class.

Last 2 are the overall winner. He came in as a middle weight at around 169. He is actually a good friend of mine. I took one look at him in his hotel room and declared him the overall winner of the show approximately 24 hours before it happened.

This will be mailed to me in a few week. I personally thought it was horrible... shaky, etc. I was told that the overall winner had the best poser award and as soon as i finished my routine everyone changed the results.

The show was strange this year. We were doing poses we had never done, they had a 2 man call out in the middle weights i guess because it because it was that close, and there weren't too many familiar faces there that year. There seems to be a new crop of guys coming in. Only the top 2 in that whole show qualify for nationals so it may not be in my best interest to continue doing it. None the less i had a great experience and it feels good to be able to that well at 90% of your best. It was highly encouraged a return next year. Time will tell.

I used Hans Zimmer and posed to the first min and 30 of this. I actually went 5 seconds over what i was supposed to but they let me pull it off.
