This is a huge problem in the U.S. The problem is everyone is doing it. White, black, hispanic, Asian, Jew. Old, middle age, young. It doesnt matter. Docs hand them out like candy,, and they are worth alot on the street. Vicodin, percocet, roxis, and of course oxys.. Ive had a problem with these little fuckers in the past, really fucked my life up. What do you guys that have had problems in the past do to stay off? Suboxcone? Counseling? Ive said im done with this shit before and the next thing i know, im popping on a weekend and then every day. I understand i can no longer do that as i am an addict. Im clean now but not for long. Dont ever touch these pills. Theyll fuck your life up...ive seen alot shit here in vegas that i wont post herw but let me tell you its fucking crazy out there man especially, with high unemployment....WOW.

I get the same offer from people every month for my perc's. $:-\$ $500 for a bottle. $:-\$ But they complain about not being able to pay their bills.

I have been on them for 28 years. In all those years I have never had to get a refill before it was due. I have been able to not abuse them. I would rather that one of the 5 major back surgeries would have worked so I could get off of them. I have no doubt I would have to go into treatment when that time comes. Only natural after taking them for so long.

I can't even get 1 or 2 pills of codeine when my head feels like it's exploding due to tooth ache.
Never got any narcotics after surgeries like hernia surgery or pec tear repair either.

In the US it seems like they are prescribed when they wouldn't really be needed but here you (or I) can't get get it when they would really offer needed relief.

A " friend" i know used to trade the to strippers and hookers for "dates". And make a nice living selling to celebrties and white house wives, school teachers and everyone else you wouldnt suspect....crazy world man...you werent there man....you werent there....lol

I have two family members that did them all the time, caused many problems (broken leg, falling down steps, fighting, jail, etc...)

They both stopped cold turkey. Haven't touched them in a few years.

its much more difficult to orgasm on them and the orgasm doesnt feel as good as it would have off them. Once your addicted, you are no longer seeking the euphoria, you are taking them to be normal. If you run out about 24 - 48 hours after last dose, diarriah, headaches, profuse sweating, restless legs, anxiety, depression, vomitting, muscle cramping....bad shit man.

Ive dealt with substance abuse in my life too. In fact, I still do ; fortunately, to a much smaller degree than in the past.

Everyone is different, had a friend who was a quart a day (hard stuff) drinker. HE got clean via AA only. I cant stand listening to all those fucking stories. so, tihs was not the place for me.

There are medications out there. Subutex, naltrexone, etc. Dont be afraid to get on medication. Alot of AA people think thats replacing one drug for another, I call bullshit. If it helps, do it.

Not only Pain pills, it's the same with Ritalin and Adderall.

The drug companies are not stupid, these are highly addictive compounds and creates physiological dependency. They will get the user hooked very fast at regular prescription doses. Same as any drug, these companies have simply figured out how to sell drugs within the law.

Give the doctors under the table provision for handing out free samples and easy prescriptions. With the help of big pharma, come up with diseases that doesn't even exist for which you are prescribed their drugs, especially with children that can't decide on their own and get hooked for life.

Drug companies are rapidly becoming the biggest and most successful business idea world wide.

Been battling addiction for the last 10 years. I went the suboxone route. I go once a month to the doc take a tiny tiny amount of suboxone everyday 2 mg. Your tolerance doesn't grow on suboxone and it has kept me from abusing more serious things like roxies, oxies, perc etc. If you really think your addiction is going to be a problem talk to a sub doctor.
