So....you wan't to raise the tax rate on corporations to get them to keep labor in the U.S.? I'm confused.
This is what happens when you have floating currencies, cheaper labor in another country etc.
The cost of doing business in the U.S. is astronomical. Taxes, paper-work, inefficient tax code, regulations, environmental law, the list goes on and on. The CEO of Intel said that it would cost around 1 billion dollars + a long lead time to build a factory in the U.S. while it would take around 25-50% of that +shorter build times to construct the same facility in Taiwan.
