Here what The Obamas had us pay for so far:

"
GIRLS' TRIP TO SPAIN: AUGUST 2010

The exact cost is unclear as Mrs Obama and her 40 friends footed many personal expenses, such as hotels and meals themselves.

But the U.S. taxpayer would have paid for the First Lady's 68-strong security detail, personal staff, and use of presidential jet Air Force Two.

Per diems for the secret service team runs at around $281 each - nearly $98,000 for the length of the summer break.

Use of Air Force Two, the Air Force version of a 757, comes in at $149,900 for the round trip. This does not include time on the ground.

Mrs Obama's personal staff, of which there are an unknown amount and might cost considerably more per day, should also be taken into account.

CHRISTMAS BREAK IN HAWAII: DECEMBER 2010

According to the Hawaii Reporter, the bill for the $1.5m trip included:

$63,000 on an early flight bringing Mrs Obama and the children to Hawaii ahead of the President.
$1,000,000 on Mr Obama’s return trip from Washington on Air Force One.
$38,000 for the ‘Winter White House’ beach property rental.
$16,000 to rent nearby homes for Secret Service and Navy Seals.
$134,000 for 24 White House staff to stay at the Moana Hotel.
    $251,000 in police overtime.
$10,000 for an ambulance to be on hand at all times

SKI TRIP TO VAIL: FEBRUARY 2011

Mrs Obama and her daughters stayed at the Sebastian hotel on Vail Mountain, where rooms cost more than $2,400 for multi-bedroom suites.

The family appear to have flown there on Air Force Two.

They were escorted to the resort by a motorcade of about a dozen vehicles, including 15 state and local law enforcement officers

SUMMER HOLIDAY ON MARTHA'S VINEYARD: AUGUST 2011

The Blue Heron Farm estate, where the Obama family are currently staying, rents for about $50,000 a week.

According to U.S. News and World Report, the Coast Guard is required to keep ships floating near the property, the presidential helicopter and jet remain at the ready and security agents will be on 24-hour duty.

White House sources today claimed that the First Lady has spent $10million of U.S. taxpayers' money on vacations alone in the past year.

So would you care to explore how the Obamas' expenses compare to previous Presidents and their families?

President Obama has taken far less vacation then his republican predecessors did. Actually about a third the vacation time the George W. Bush took by this time during his Presidency.

His actions should reflect what is taking place in America right now. Not allowing his wife to spend 10 million in taxpayer money would be a good start. You don't understand this!

President Obama’s Vacation Days

January 11, 2010

Q: Has President Obama taken more vacation time than his predecessors?

A: According to one count, Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush spent more time on "vacation" during their first year than President Obama did. Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton spent less time on "vacation."

FULL ANSWER

President Obama has spent all or part of 26 days "on vacation" during his first year as president, according to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller.

Knoller, who has covered every president since Gerald Ford and is known for keeping detailed records on presidential travel, counts the following among President Obama’s "vacations" in 2009:
■A four-day holiday weekend in Chicago in February where the president played some basketball and treated First Lady Michelle Obama to a Valentine’s Day dinner date.
■An eight-day stay with his family at a rented house on Martha’s Vineyard in August.
 ■ A trip out west to the U.S. states of Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Arizona that combined both business and pleasure. The president held town hall meetings on health care during the trip. And he went fly fishing and took trips to Yellowstone National Park and the Grand Canyon with his wife and two daughters.
■An 11-day stay in Hawaii where the president and his family celebrated Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

Some of the president’s recent predecessors, however, have spent more days — either entirely or partially — away from the White House "on vacation" during their first year in office.

President Reagan, in 1981, spent all or part of 42 days away from the White House "on vacation" at his home in Santa Barbara, Calif, according to Knoller. President Reagan and his wife, Nancy, also spent three or four days around New Year’s Day each year in Palm Springs, Calif., at the home of philanthropist Walter Annenberg. (In 1993 the late Mr. Annenberg founded the nonpartisan Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania, which is FactCheck.org’s parent organization.)

President George W. Bush spent even more time away from the presidential mansion in the nation’s capital than Reagan. Of the 77 total "vacation" trips the former president made to his Texas ranch while in office, nine of them — all or part of 69 days — came during his first year as president in 2001, according to Knoller.

Bush’s father, President George H.W. Bush, spent less time "on vacation" during his first year than his son, but spent more days than President Obama. According to travel records provided to FactCheck.org by the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum, the former president took six trips — spanning all or part of 40 days — to the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 1989. The archivist at Bush’s presidential library told us she didn’t have a list of all vacations but did have the Kennebunkport visits.

But at least two recent presidents — by Knoller’s count — took less "vacation" time during their first year than President Obama — Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton.

According to Knoller, Carter spent just 19 days "on vacation" in 1977. Most of that time, Knoller says, the former president spent at his home in Plains, Ga. President Clinton took all or part of 174 days of vacation during his eight years as president — most of that "vacation" time was during the summer, according to Knoller. But Knoller says Clinton only took 21 "vacation" days during his first year.

It’s worth mentioning that President Obama has also made 11 trips — all or part of 27 days — to Camp David, the presidential retreat in Frederick County, Md. Knoller, however, says he doesn’t count trips to Camp David as part of any presidents’ "vacation" time. But for the sake of comparison, President George W. Bush, made more trips to that country residence than Obama. According to Knoller, Bush made 25 trips — a total of 78 days — to Camp David in 2001.

But no matter how much time a president actually spends away from the official residence at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., Knoller says that the commander in chief is never really off the clock. "I have long held the view that a US president is never really on vacation," Knoller told FactCheck.org in an e-mail. "The job – and its awesome powers and responsibilities – is his wherever he is and whatever he’s doing."

Regardless of Factcheck, go to the Political Board and read for yourself how the Oslamas are whoring taxpayer money, completely inappropriate.

I don't need to read a bunch of politically immature Obama haters opinions about how the Obama's are spending money. Facts are facts and opinions are just opinions. As to whether it is appropriate for the President or his wife to take these vacations in the eyes of the American citizens will be known when the vote count comes in during the next Presidential election....unless of course, too many of the naysayers just complain and don't bother to vote as is so frequently the case....in my opinion.

The numbers so far show a lack or support for Obama. Romney and Perry are both ahead. Obama is a one termer no doubt about it.

I am not much of a gambler. I pass on the speculation at this point. A lot can and will happen before it is time to vote. However, I'll give you that according to the media, Obama's ratings aren't great right now.

Perry over Nobama in the 2nd largest presidential election landslide ever - it will rival Reagan over Mondale.

This just in:

President Obama Leads All Republican Challengers In Iowa

By The Presidential Candidates. US on Aug 25, 2011 in 2012 President

In a new PPP poll President Obama holds double digit leads against all potential Republican general election challengers in Iowa. Obama won the state in 2008 by 9% over John McCain (54% to 45%.)

This is remarkable because Iowa is the state where the Republican candidates are most well known due to all of the early campaigning in the first in the nation primary state.

If the Republican candidates have turned off the voters of Iowa in this way (all of them doing worse than McCain despite President Obama’s lukewarm 45% approval rating in the state) then it seems likely that they will turn off the voters in the rest of the country quite similarly.

Iowa: President Obama vs. Republicans

Obama 49%, Mitt Romney 39% (+10%)
 Obama 51%, Rick Perry 38% (+13%)
 Obama 51%, Michele Bachmann 34% (+17%)
 Obama 51%, Herman Cain 33% (+18%)
 Obama 54%, Sarah Palin 33% (+21%)

Bush went home on vacation not traipsing all over the world.  His vacation days are misleading.

Actually, where he travels doesn't have that much to do with the costs of his or Michele's travels. When Presidents and their families travel, they have to pay their own personal expenses. Most of the costs associated with Presidential travel, regardless of which President or where they travel is the cost of security. Even when a President goes "home" for vacation they still have the same amount of security. Therefore, whether Obama goes to Martha's Vineyard or to Chicago the price tag is about the same. In fact, Chicago might actually be more expensive depending on hotel costs for all that security.

Chewbacca playing ugly American tourist all over the world sure as hell aint the same as going to your Texas ranch.

A PPP poll showing any type of obama lead isn't worth wiping your ass with. Nobama trails a generic Repub candidate by 5 pts and has an approval rate ready to drop below 40%. So who are ya tryin' to kid? The Community Organizer has a little over a year before he gets run out of DC on a rail.

Easy money..

I DON'T THINK REAGAN AND BUSH SPENDING VACATIONS AT THEIR HOME AND RANCH RESPECTIVELY AMOUNTS TO MUCH OF AN EXPENDITURE TO TAXPAYERS COMPARED TO THE LAVISH OBAMA VACATIONS.
