About nine months ago my truck got stuck in a ditch. The front part, where the engine is, was going no where. The first tow truck company couldn't get it out and the second one didn't even try saying it was too dangerous to get their tow truck up the hill. I really thought I was fucked and that I would lose my truck. I called AAA again and they said they will call one more tow company but that's it. I prayed for a miracle (I can hear the laughter on this board).

Anyway, when the tow truck arrived these two Samoans get out. Both taller than me (I'm just under 6'2") and easily over 300 lbs. Of course they were carrying a good bit of fat but they had those cannon ball delts that they get when they enter puberty. And they had that waddle that they have because their quads are so big. Anyway they told me they wouldn't be able to get their truck up the hill and even if they did they couldn't position it in a way to drag the front end out of ditch. I was just like "Fuck me." Anyway one of them says something in Samoan to the other and they just position themselves on each side of the front end of my truck. They start bouncing it up and down and then when they really have it going they both just lifted it out of the ditch. They pulled that front end from the just below the knees to up nearly chest level. I couldn't believe it. I got their names and tipped them with all the money I was carrying (about $48) and called AAA and their company for commendation.

Massive, strong, kick ass race. On the lazy side though.

In Hawaii maybe, over here it's definitely corned beef, lol. Tons of that stuff gets exported to the islands all the time. Spam's not very popular here.

BTW, it's not just their size but their durability. Their bodies can take a lot of punishment and abuse and not break. You get a guy like Branch Warren with muscles on muscles and look indestructible but remember how he injured his tricep falling down the stairs and now his quad. You can have to practically run a Samoa over with a truck to do damage. Me, I'm just the opposite. Born with a pussy body and have long loss count of the number of injuries I've had over the years.

4. many tend to have larger calves and thighs (but with no definition whatsoever)

Brah, you're talking about physique and how a man looks in panties. The thread and topic is about size and strength. And no chest? Um, OK whatever. They aren't going to give you a boner doing a size chest pose. But the Samoans in my gym rep 315 on inclines like it's nothing. They have to start pushing when it gets up to four plates. And this is inclines. When was the last time you saw Jay do 4 plates on the inclines?

this thread reminds me of last year when i went to nigeria and assessed everybody's physique to see if they lived up to the "west african black genetics" thing

saw one huge huge jacked guy on in the market who was obviously a bodybuilder (sleeveless shirt with huge vascular arms hanging out)

apart from that the hotel had a short guy to carry the luggage and he was pretty strong and built but not much size

apart from that i didnt see too much impressive physiques but a lot of lean guys with veins in their arms and looked hard but that's probably because of their skin color


overall i think it's a myth or a gross exageration since i saw plenty of fat and skinny fat bodies


their food was mostly yams, rice, organ meat, some beef, chicken, and goat as far as i noticed
