DId anyone else have that feeling that Griffin didn't look right tonight... like pre fight/coming into the fight etc.?  Looked pale and sickly.  His movement in the ring prior to that WEAK tko was way off.  I wonder if it was the weight cut or maybe he was sick?  Looked so uncharacteristic of him tonight.

Regardless of that fluke Forrest win, were you seriously shocked that a primed up and pissed off Shogun wiped the floor with him?

Shogun to me is still the second best fighter at 205 by a mile. Jon Jones is a freak of nature. The only other guy that owns the 205lb division is Shogun. Outside of a rematch with Jones, I see Shogun walking thru the entire division effortlessly.

And i couldnt agree more. Although IMO Rua looked unprepared for his defence against Jones, i feel he wasnt anywhere near 100%. Jones would have still taken the title but Rua could have offered more than he did, and aside from Jones its Shogun that people should fear the most.

Thats exactly what I said once the fight started.  Griffin just looks worn out, slow, and just doesn't seem to have that "kill 'em all" attitude anymore.  The whole thing of "no one can outwork forrest in the gym" maybe has run its course.

GW:  honestly I had rua for the win...but something was up w Forrest.  He usually brings more fight.  Just looked ill.

Perhaps.  But it just didn't seem like lack of focus.  It seemed like he was pale, uncoordinated etc.  Reason I say this is bc I remember he acted the same way before his Silva fight.  Something was up. 

And not to take anything away from Rua, but that tko was weak.  The punches weren't spot on but seemed like only grazes. 

I don't know..  I guess at this point I don't really care either.  haha.
