10 other songs (at least) easily could have made this list-- it just reminded me of how a great entertainer doesn't know or care about when its time to hang em up. Lidell+Fedoresque . Great all time rapper who pretends to retire every other year so he can put out more bs. I'm a huge Jay fan, but its over, enough already. Go away. You're going to be 50 soon. I always tried to like Jay Z but he just comes off lame to me. Some of his lyrics just sound so stupid. And then songs he does with Rhianna and Beyonce so gay. Yup!

I hear you-- But his versatility and talent is only on par with Tupac (and Biggie if he had lived longer). He can switch from street thug to party rapper effortlessly. Go thru that top 10, I guarantee you will change your mind. As much as I can't stand him now, he is one of the greatest ever.

I often thought that "Politics as Usual" was under rated and very prophetic.
"Jigga What, Jigga Who" and "The City is Mine (you belong to the City)" were club bangers, and the last prophetic in terms of his influence

when he teamed up with Christion for the song "Your Love" and used the Computer Love by Roger&Zapp, that shit went hard, and playing that in the car, oh damn!

I actually read his book awhile back. He had one fucked up life! Guys like Eminem who make songs about life being hard look like little girls next to him trust me they should walk a mile in DMX shoes. He got his ass kicked by his mother growing up bad. Like broken bones black eyes all of that shit. He was in and out of homes/prisons his whole life. He never sold drugs. He would wait until they made all of their money and then rob them. I remeber one story he would duck tape a sawed off shotgun to his leg and go to where the highschool kids shot dice and rob everyone. Just a crazy basterd.

Em sounds like a mad muppet, I've never taken him seriously. I think he's mad that everybody sees thru his act. Dude put down his mother on wax, "married" some chick who is just like his mother, and now has a kid, who will be just like her mother and grandmother...

DMX did a interview on a Baltimore radio station (92Q), he called in, and he has/had beef with Ja Rule, for a dude who is a pastor, he was cursing like a mofo...
I am wondering if he is gonna get metal canines put in his mouth.
