Kevinf I'm no expert but I think just about anyone can get in great shape fast by taking about 10 calories/lb of target bodyweight (i.e. if you weigh 220 but want to be 180 lean then take 1800 calories not 2200), and 1-1.5 gram protein per lb of target bodyweight. I also try to get aboug 15 grams of fiber per day + a multivitamin/mineral. The calories might sound low but I have a slow metabolism, perhaps others dont need to reduce the calories as low.
