I've known 2 people who've succumbed to pancreatic cancer in the last few years. Both were gone in less than a year post diagnosis. Mr. Jobs seems to have beaten the odds thus far, from what I gather, due to him surviving this long. Doesn't look good for him now though.

Face it; How many presidents of superpowers have died because of cancer? How many top billionaires? Not many I think  ???



All the best for him. He really did something remarkable during his lifetime. Not many can say that.

there probably is a cure for different types of cancer that only the RICHEST people in the world get.. same for HIV there is probably a cure for that too etc etc

but ask yourself this.. lets say you are one of the top guys who run a pharmaceutical company.. you find a cure but you tell yourself "wait.. why should i release this cure make only 1 billion when i can just say i havent found anything make them buy more bi-products and in the end come up with 50 billion dollars instead.. hey i think i like the 2nd idea better"
