anyone notice basketball players often have good deltoids?
or is that a visual effect due to skinny arms?
I notice many basketball player have that "3D" deltoids and they don't even train shoulders heavy.... 
in my youth, i was in a basketball camp in high school, and for some reason i distinctly remember an over emphasis on shoulder training. it was weird to me, lots of power cleans, deltoid raises, shoulder presses. From what i remember, it had something to do with improving your jump shot , as well as jumping through a crowd of defenders when going for a layup, etc.
