Rye Playland was shut down Tuesday after cops scuffled with Muslims upset that women wearing head scarves were barred from the rides, witnesses said.

Fifteen people, including three women, were charged with disorderly conduct and assault in the chaos, authorities said.

Problem isn't the park though.  It's these fucking vigilante cops who just go in tasering, shooting and beating anyone who even looks at them different.  how the fuck is it a cop can beat someone down, then charge them for a felony?  The cops should be charged.

Also muslims need to learn to assimilate or don't leave their homelands.  The fact is they are leaving to other countries then complaining when the countries won't support their beliefs.  Is is 2011,  there is no fucking need to wear headscarfs anymore.  The dudes don't need to sporting Jebediah Omish beards and stand out like a fool.  Dress normal, fit in and that's how you take over a society.  Once you are blended in you can control it as no one will know what the fuck is going on.

I was JUST discussing this article with my wife and my in-laws (who are also muslim) this morning and we ALL agreed that the muslims were WRONG in this scenario.

They are complaining saying "its because I'm muslim" - NO ITS NOT!  Its because these are the rules....  Can you imagine if her hijab caught on to something and injured her neck - this would be a huge liability!

Rules are Rules plain and simple!


Seriously, if muslims want to successfully assimilate with the west they need to handle situations like this better!

legally, the muslims were out of line.  morally, they were not.  the park said they didnt allow 'headgear' of any kind on certain rides because they can become projectiles. fair enough. hats, glasses, etc. these things could cause personal injury to someone if they got enough speed and hit someone in a sensitive location. a head scarf is incapable of damaging anyone no matter how fast its going or how direct the hit. certainly they should have been allowed to wear them.

that being said, islam is a poor choice of religion.
