You have to read the Dark Horse comic book series but he was a fearsome pirate who went around killing everyone he encountered on the sea

That particular scene is little scary because maybe it signifies that these Predators have been hunting in our planet since ages. You never know

Danny Glover is pretty badass, he is the only man other than ARNOLD to kill a Predator.

I presume some die in those newer Predator movies but those are shite.

According to the AvP storyline, they have. One of the main characters talks about how they taught early humans to build and were worshipped as gods. They'd come to Earth every 100 years for the coming-of-age hunt ritual.

As far as your question goes, the predators are hunters and take a trophy from each kill (they also mark themselves). Since Glover's character kills the predator, the senior predator gives him a trophy as part of the ritual/tradition.

AvP is actually pretty good, it only gets a lot of hate because it follows in the footsteps of Aliens and Predator, which are 2 of the top sci fi movies of all time.

The second AvP sucked. There was more action between the predator and the aliens, but the cast was lame and the plot worse.

Predators was ok.

Liked the introduction of the new Predators, but i also disliked that they were a new breed of Predators.

They should've been the same type of Predator as Predator Vanilla (and same height too) but just different masks/physiques.

They could have made Predators so much better, it had potential!
