Unfortunately for America, most people don't.  Educate yourself, then come back and explain how you intend to get an unelectable GOP candidate elected when the GOP won't be able to win enough of the battleground states.

I want Obama's people removed from power, but at the present time, I'm (sadly) more uncomfortable with any would-be replacements.  I do, however, want to hold onto most of what *I* have worked to acquire, but the majority of Americans think that they should be able to use the government to rob me. 

Be that as it may, the Electoral College is what it is, and people are taking way too much, um, 'hope' away from the midterm elections.  The numbers are what they are.  Let's say that a Romney could take Michigan and VA.  How would he win PA?  FL??  OH? NC?  The numbers just aren't there, guys.

romney is ahead in FL by a lot.   Bama is getting killed in PA and is done in NC as well.   OH?  I think he loses that too as a result of voter apathy.

FL will be tight. Expect there to be a 2-3% spread 12 months from now. I admit that I completely misread PA back in '08, but there hasn't been enough of a shift to take it from the democrats. 

They could try to make 2012 another referendum on gay equality (a brilliant strategy that carried the day for the GOP in 2004), but so far, I'm not hearing any rumblings about that possibility.
