« on: September 06, 2011, 08:09:47 PM »

Is there a single poster on this board who really does still support him?  This is a serious question, not looking to flame anyone or anything, I just haven't seen any support for him here.

No - its a reference to the 95% of blacks who will support and vote for Obama no matter what he does, even going so far as him burning a cross, wearing a sheet, or signing Dixie in the WH.

That kind of support is even going out the window dude...  He hasn't shown them anything worth a shit and they know it.  This guy has been nothing but more of the same bullshit and people fucking know it.  black and white, gay or not.

I wouldn't call it support....just a sad reality of politics in the United States.  Both parties pander to the corporations, the banks, and big industry for campaign donations.  Its only obvious that the same conclusion that the politicians will do everything to protect their interest over the needs of the general public.  That's why this country is so fucked up these days.

I supported Clinton, then considered Obama when McCain looked and sounded like a confused geriatric during interviews and then went with Obama after Palin was selected for VP.

Now, I will not vote independent so Paul is out, and I do not support any of the current GOP candidates, so will either not vote or vote Obama at this point. We'll see.

wait, getbiggers have unscientifically declared that palin's selection only HELPED mccain.

they said NOBODY decided to skip voting for mccain because of palin.

I don't think he could have rebounded at that point, and she did have an initial wave of intrigue that spiked the public appeal (but any out of the box nomination would've done that too). Once she opened up her mouth the final nails were driven in to the coffin for good though.

McCain sunk himself w his actions.   Palin got him more votes than she cost him.  Even at that McCain only lost by five.   Obama is done absent a space invasion to revive the economy.
