Only a complete idiot would do something outrageous as that. That would be Generation Nothingness at its finest. Throwing away a Priceless hand carved door out that is complete. You couldn`t reproduce this door today if you tried being that its well over 10 feet tall.
Relax. It was my attempt at humor. I appreciate well made houseware as well. No pressboard in my home, although after my dog chewed the fck out of the baseboard in my home I was tempted to replace it with particle board. Just couldn't do it though. I know it would have bothered me every time I looked down. lol . Worth paying the price for quality solid timber.
Last year I found an awesome 50yr old cherry table. Shipping cost almost as much as the table b/c I live in a remote location. It is Amish made though, so well worth it in the end.
