I'm not really sure I like the idea of using predator drones.  The border needs to be secured but if you use pradator drones to enforce laws in on area there's really nothing to stop using them in other areas.  Kind of creepy to think that one day predator drones could be crusing all around America for different reasons..  Seems there are enough traditional ways to secure the border that they could focus on and make work if they wanted to.

Yeah, I heard RP say that but I'm not buying it.  Let's say for the sake of argument that somebody wants to start using them on us.  They could just as easily claim it's for "safety and security" as easily as they could claim, "well, we're watching the border so it's ok".

In fact, if I had to venture a guess, I'd say that we'll probably hear the "safety and security" argument first - just as soon as the price gets down to a point where some police department can afford one (may have already happened for all I know).
