i was gunning for 6 reps on the squat with my previous 5 rep max
first rep felt awesomely strong
as i descend for the second i feel a slight stinging sensation in the right quad right above the right side of the knee, i finish the second rep
go down for a third but it increases so i dump the bar on the safety bars
i can feel it while squatting with no weight right now or climbing a stair, or riding my bike home was also noticable
not massive pain just worrying stinging feeling
what would your guess be this is? a tear? how long to repair? can it heal by monday?
sucks when your strength is up something like this happens, by the time you're ready to go again the strength is down again...
THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE BY THE WAY
maybe warmed up insufficiently
*2 bodyweight squat sets of 15 reps or so
*1 barbell set 10 reps or so
*5 reps 60kg
*5 reps 100kg
*3 reps 140kg
then the set i was talking about with 160kg, i like to take big jumps like this all the time but maybe it's a bad idea
