I don't get people who hear stuff like this and say, "man, this guy is a true bodybuilder. he lives it and loves it; this is what it's all about!"

i thought bodybuilding was about looking awesome not about glorifying the slavish-obsessive lifestyle of eating loads of unappetizing food and picking things up off the floor. $:-\$

but what kai is selling is the same arnold shit all over again "work hard and achieve your dreams"

bodybuilding has always been about illusion, but arnold's illusion was: muscle bound god walks around the earth doing as he pleases and having a great time. kai's illusion is: ascetic muscle saint sits in gloomy iron dungeon 24 hours a day.

i find kai's version of things to be utterly degenerate and backwards.

I actually agree with this part. Most of that illusion has been propagated by me. It's somewhat true but I dramatize it for effect.

I think he throws most people for a loop (okay, in real life I sometimes talk like him, I said sometimes).

To some lifting weights is to build the ego, to others it's to master and control the ego, and as Kai is a artist, he is bending his ego and willing it to create something, like on a canvas--just like Arnold had said, except he was referencing a sculpture.

He has sum' work ethic. He has worked his way from bad odds to one of the best in the world on his chosen field. How many can say the same?
He seems to be very humble guy... no fancy luxury cars or other show-off.
