No meltdown - just want to remind you and the other dirtbags of your actions since 911, along w obama, and not amused by the "koombaya bs". Btw - krugman is another muppet pofs who should be dumped into the hudsoin river for his scandalous blog post today.
Amen.....instead of vigilence they represent appeasement and failure. Does Obama ever say he wants to defeat terrorism or win...no he mentions finishing or ending. Obama reresents the "every kid gets a trophy" America that has infected this country. We no longer try and win, we try not to hurt peoples feelings. Obama is a piece of shit. You libs railed against Bush of the last 8 years...do you think we have forgotten. Obama oozes weakness and apathy. He does not lead. Who in their right mind ever though a President would allow a narrative about him of "leading from behind". Leaders lead from the front. Weak lib douchbags who associate with domestic terrorists, black hate preachers and Van Jones nut jobs, lead from behind because they know no other way. Oh and Krugman...very brave of him not to allow comments on his editorial. He is another piece of shit.
9/11 had nothing to do with Obama, it had to do with Bush and Clinton. It would make more sense in this context to speak of their failures.
Bloomberg on tv speaking about it now. It's crazy how fast time flies. Have a good day fellow Americans!
I'm all for that. If you look at my first post it's a reply and a question for 333 who just had to bring up Obama when the topic was about 911that's an obsession and probably (I think almost certainly) a sign of deep mental and emotional issues
Do you disagree with Michael Scheuer's assessment of out foreign policy? This is a serious question.
In what context...he has said all along that we should have done more to get Bin Laden before 9/11. The guy blames Clinton more for 9/11 then Bush. He is not a big fan of Israel. Its his opinion based on living in a world where his every moment was dedicated to muslim terrorism. I respect it but disagree. Especially as AQ was defeated in Iraq, more or less defeated in Afganistan. Whether we support Israel or not, these idiots will exist.
911 is as much about the aftermath as the event itself and how people viewed it. Van jones, rev wright, ayeres, flegar, the cters, the gz mosque supporters, the ksm in nyc trial fans, etc etc are all fair game.
9/11 happened on Bush's watch and occurred because of Clinton's mismanagement, as well as our interventionist foreign policy. It has nothing to do with Obama.
It's a pretty funny assessment considering Bin Laden's biggest gripe with us (according to his own words) was our support of the Saudi royal family and their allowing of our "infidel" troops on the "Muslim holy land" in the First Gulf War.
If your going to blame Clinton and interventionist foreign policy...point to exactly what policies led to 9/11 during Clinton's presidency. Was it trying to feed muslims in Somalia or could it have been saving muslims in the former Yugoslavia. Bin Laden hated the fact that we had a small number of troops in Saudi Arabia...a gov he hated and had tried to kill or jail him repeatedly. He hated that we supported a different faction in Afghanistan then the one he did. You make these statements but don't back it up with anything. You make no real argument but just a series of statements like you have an educated opinion.
Clarke's book Against All Enemies is also a crucial complement to the September 11 panel's failure to condemn Mr. Clinton's failure to capture or kill bin Laden on any of the eight to 10 chances afforded by CIA reporting. Mr. Clarke never mentions that President Bush had no chances to kill bin Laden before September 11 and leaves readers with the false impression that he, Mr. Clinton and Mr. Clinton's national security adviser, Sandy Berger, did their best to end the bin Laden threat. That trio, in my view, abetted al Qaeda, and if the September 11 families were smart they would focus on the dereliction of Dick [Clarke], Bill [Clinton] and Sandy [Berger] and not the antics of convicted September 11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui.[27]
I never said it had anything to do with Obama and I don't think Clinton has much to do with it eitherI give 99% of the blame to the Cheney Bush Administrationputting CT's aside the best thing you can say is that it was a massive failure by Cheney and Bush to keep the country safe
You are very wrong about Clinton. Read what Scheuer said about it; 8-10 opportunities to take out Osama, none of which he took. Then that waste of a war in Yugoslavia, Somalia and in my opinion one of the main reasons cited by Osama himself, the Iraqi sanctions which killed thousands upon thousands of people, all happened under Clinton's watch. I am not going to play the left/right game because they both suck and Clinton clearly paved the way for 9/11.
I leave it at this because I'm headed out the doorI'm familiar with Scheuer and there is very little he says that I agree with
That's fair enough but I think it is a safe bet to defer to his knowledge since he basically dedicated his life to it for 10 years.
you could make the same argument for believing what Cheney says or John Bolton and I wouldn't agree with them eitherScheuer, like many right wingers, says 1 thing I agree with for every 99 things that I don't agree with
