Wonder how Andy Bolton would do in a bar room brawl with Floyd Mayweather?

I watched a guy squat 600lb in the gym today - only for one rep mind you but down to parallel and good form - you guys are probably thinking  "that's not that much" but I've never been to a powerlifting contest in my life and it's not often you see that in the gym with your own eyes. I was impressed.

Did he offer a reacharound?

Beside of this freaky lift, what a pair of grip he has.. Shocked

he's incredible ... there's no way standing on a stage in a thong getting a trophy compares to what it must feel like to move that kind of weight !!

You have possibly underestimated the appeal and personal satisfaction of having 500 men ogle your striated glutes in unison....it's the fuel that propels the "sport".   Grin

I watched a guy bench 585lbs once , needless to say the whole gym stopped and watched , his petite wife or g/f was spotting him , he didn't need any help anyway

I watched a local cop load 315lbs on the smith machine and I thought he was going to squat it  he ended up doing behind the neck presses for 8 full reps with no spotter I was impressed

600lbs squats are crazy , one item I never wait for is a squat rack lol it's always empty

Yep, the guy in question was a big pakistani guy, I would say at least in his mid forties (he trains his son who is 21 - the son can pull 500lb from the floor) and is natural, not that muscular by any means - just a big, strong guy with a lot of years training behind him - he was wearing a suit and wraps to do the lift but still an impressive feat nonetheless.

Insane...but like someone else said - just being able to grip the bar and hold it at all is incredible. Does he have extra fingers?
