When I was in Japan last I was walking around with sun glasses on and the guy I was with who was older told me to take them off b/c some ppl would see me and think i was yakuza. The culture is very image oriented.
Yeah all true. I do not and will have connections with them outside the gym. Most of them I don't know their names and vice versa.It's not my company I speak of BTW, but rather the gym's parent company. They have pachinko connections. I work in the finance sector.My wife is very keen on keeping me from making stupid mistakes like befriending gangsters.
A lot of people told me gaijin always wear sunglasses because our eyes are different and we can't see in the sun, the Japanese eyes block the rays better.
