Do we REALLY need to do this again?   At this point -the reagan recovery was actually taking place fool!

Again - how you claim to be a libertarian and a ron paul is amazing.   you ignore not only history, but the policies that helped lead to the Reagan recovery.

You, as a douche, supported obamonomics and the stim bill.  so you can run away from it.   you along w team Kenya own this disaster.

Yeah ok - GWB had far better ratings than obama and barely squeeked by.

at this rate Obama would lose in mondale fashion by my guess.

Remember - Reagan was behind Carter even until the end.

reagan at this point had seen an economy recovering.   obama's economic disaster is getting worse as resylt of his Kenyan economic policies.

I'm sorry but none of the GOP contenders are even electable at this point.  Perry has come and gone, Romney won't get any of the Christian vote, Bachmann isn't going anywhere, Paul is ignored, Cain is out of money, and no one wants Palin in office.

I think the overall rhetoric and the Tea Party has worn the party down and steered it so far right that moderates and independents simply are not going to vote for them.  Obama's ratings may be low but the GOP contenders are much lower.  Unless they turn the steering wheel off from the far right, the election is pretty much over with.

From the link:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17 (see trends).

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

Also of interest is this (regarding Rasmussen's accuracy):

In 2008, Obama won 53%-46% and our final poll showed Obama winning 52% to 46%. While we were pleased with the final result, Rasmussen Reports was especially pleased with the stability of our results. On every single day for the last six weeks of the campaign, our daily tracking showed Obama with a stable and solid lead attracting more than 50% of the vote.

In 2004 George W. Bush received 50.7% of the vote while John Kerry earned 48.3%. Rasmussen Reports polling projected that Bush would win 50.2% to 48.5%. We were the only firm to project both candidates' totals within half a percentage point by (see our 2004 results).

See all Rasmussen Reports 2008 state results for president, Senate and governor. See 2006 results for Senate and governor. See 2004 state results for president.

For 2010, a pre-election column by Scott Rasmussen projected that the Republicans would gain 55 or more seats in the House and end up with 48 or 49 Senate seats. Nearly final results show the Republicans will end up with more than 60 House seats and 47 or 48 Senate seats.

Other than Andreisadouche, who likes perry?

Is is true that Liberals like perry more than Repubs?

IMO, tea party people were screaming for him 3 weeks ago.  Today?  It's toned down a bit.  The actions he's defending CANNOT be labeled as "leftstream attacks" when liberals LOVE the required shots and DREAM support.

Shit... WTF is happening in 2012?  Why are the only candidates running named Mitt (mormon/romneycare/weirdo), Bachmann (liar/flake), and Perry (outright lib, globalist, amnesty and shots)?

Do they all know something we don't?  lol... Any of these candidates:

Palin
Jeb
Hutchinson
Christie
Paul Ryan
Cantor
Huck
Rudy

and plenty more.  ANY OF THEM could be whooping the lib/lib field that's running.

Maybe, just maybe, they know an incumbent Obama is too tough to beat, and that anti-Obama sentiment in 2016 will be insanely high?
