Youre not getting it.I understand English isnt your first language but listen carefully....Its still the person throwing that kick that matters.Have 20 people throw 1 chosen kick and someone will throw it harder than the rest, its kinda simple.I dont know what youre disagreeing with? ::)

I dont know why you posted it and how its relevant

If a guy throws all he can into a front kick and all he can into a side kick. the side kick will have more force due to rotation adding momentum. thats my point.

No momentum from rotation involved in a regular side kick in tkd.

You may be referring to a turning or spinning side kick where the spin adds momentum.

Not sure, but I think you're talking about a different kick.

When Fight Science measure teh power of a kick. The practitioners all kick the bag in the preferred way of their chosen martial art.

Then it is measured. thats about as scientific as it needs to be and it gets.

This thing with martial arts science is really strange to me, there is no fight sceince, and joe rogan is full of it. Half of what he says on the ufc is not true. Whenever someone is in a head lock he wants to say the wrist is not deep, his hips are this way or that way, he's just wrog half the time, he is a guy who is eager to sound like an expert, and in this eagerness he allows himself to say things he knows are bullshit but he knows people will trust him.

I've taken tkd, tkd is a martial art not a sport, an ART. The kicks are emphasized but they are no tmeant to be effective, people do not compete by hurting themselves with kicks in tkd, it is not a sport. Muay Thai on the other hand is a sport, the kicks are ment to chop people down, it is not a martial art it is a sport, that's what makes it fucking effective.

Joe Rogan is a pot head bullshitter, his podcast is unlistenable, he talks about how aliens built the pyramids with a serious face,

I also want to say that MMA is in a seriously awful state, people are good at wrestling and bjj but most people in the UFC can not throw a punch correctly. These winding looping hooks are no good, they're not a different but equal style, they are simply inferior, which is why guys who simply throw tight hooks, quick straight crosses, and check leg kicks instead of just eating them and hoping to get a take down dominate so hard. I don't know who is training all these fighters, but they aren't training them correctly.

Yeah I've seen the same kick called 3 or 4 different names. Gets confusing.

I think we used to call the kick you're referring to as a back side kick. Been a long time for me, but every instructor seems to have different names for kicks anyway.

I know a guy who is like 5'7" 190 lbs. packed with dense muscle who lifts heavy all the time and studies Taekwondo. Dude is an absolute nightmare to fight. Like a freakin pitbull. Probably one of the legit toughest guys I've ever met.

Fight with someone who can not fight then the answer is yes, Tae Kwon Do is than effective.
But the hardest effective kicks are from muay thai or dutch kickboxing.

I fought a guy who tried to use tai chi against me.  pffft.

Some girl tried to use Tae Bo on me once, didn't end well for her.
