yes, there was no drugs(narcotics), very little if any hormones, mostly liver tabs, no gays never mind g4p, they all worked jobs just like it said in the magazines.
In fact, their lives were an exact replica of the mags pics and articles, everyday after working 12 hrs in the mine they hung out with a bevy of female models, ate fruits, drank whole milk, took weider supps, read weider mags (or philosophy, classics), trained harder than humanly possible for 2-3 hrs, got in a small nap before baking some cookies and taking them to the orphanage on their way back to the next 12 hr shift at the mine...
in reality, they looked much better, but only reason they didnt regress to todays level is because they didnt know nor have the means to yet.
