Surprised? Perry is against the AZ/Brewer immigration law
« on: September 17, 2011, 08:07:49 AM »
http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Perry-against-Arizona-law-for-Texas-1697102.php

Gov. Rick Perry said in a statement he released late Thursday that portions of Arizona's tough immigration law concern him and that “it would not be the right direction for Texas.”
The governor did not say whether he would veto similar legislation. When asked about the controversial Arizona law earlier in the week, Perry, through a spokesman, simply called immigration policy a federal responsibility.

Yes - take away the power from the States and give it to obama.  Brilliant!

yep.  So was obama.

At this point, Me & Obama & Perry should go for lunch, since we have so many identical political positions.

The only difference is, Repubs aren't shilling for 2 of us ;)

he also said he's prefer let obama handle immigration.

makes sense.  Perry is also against a border wall and favors the Dream act.

tony, he's from youe neck of the woods - who are you voting for in the GOP primary?

perry is obama in disguise...these two say what you and I do mean you b/c youre the type of moron who feeds on this shit wants to hear and then does what they want.

say what you want about bush but at least that man seemed to have some sense of saying what you are for or against and actually meaning it.

Perry is a pos I voted for bill white for gov. last election who was the Dem. mayor of houston a while back.

Iono who I will be voting for to be honest, I like paul but he just isnt a viable candidate to get the primary imh. I think romney is a much better pick than perry to be honest, if perry and obama end up being the general we should just shoot this horse that is the US b/c its run its course and is now lame.

true.

also true is the fact perry didn't support the AZ bill.   Me, perry and obama are going to watch football tomrorow.  We're rooting against the Cowboys.

Obama should handle immigration - it's a federal responsibility.  The only reason the States have been getting involved is because the feds keep fucking it up.
