ronnie ruined it! every competitor is chasing his appearance, and because of it, every pro on stage is MAXED OUT. ronnie was a freak of nature, as gh15 said. what can be done to fix it?

actually, it was Dorian's ugly physique that ruined bodybuilding

Ronnie was the best mr 0 period. Name one other that won it 8 yrs in a row, most of them no contest.

Its got to be pretty cool for Ronnie to look at Jay and now Phil and say to himself. Damn, these guys never came close to my best. And its not even debatable.

Its funny to watch now because we had it great when Ronnie was competing...there will be another Ronnie but right now they're probably 20 or 21 training their ass off

I think Dorain was really the start of the end. It would of happened anyways though. Guys are really pushing the slin and hgh. If there wasn't those two drugs bodybuilding would be a lot better. Look at the guys in the 70's.

Many say it was Dorian who started the beginning of the end. Why else would Haney retire at 31 years of age. He knew of the unknown substances "they" were starting to really use and push.

I actually meant to say that my typing is terrible right now. He was the first guy to really push the boundries with the slin and the whole mass monster thing. I just don't understand why the guys can't come in condition like him. Why don't they look back to what he was doing.

Insulin=sugar=thick skin. That and now a days competetiers are much older. Isn't the Xman like 45? Hell Haney had 8 Olympias at 31.
