Agreed. But a good reporter should get the story not make up the story. Larry is a major problem for boxing and has been for decades. He's a fucking bomb thrower in a sport thats in need of some smart intelligent reporting.

I have no problem with Mayweather winning the way he did, Ortiz brought it on 2 fold by first head butting Floyd and then trying to hug him instead of fighting him. Floyd, like every fighter at the top of the game, makes no allowances for pussying about during the fight and took advantage of the opening that had been so easily presented to him. Ortiz wants to hug him, do it post fight but FFS man up, give him a nod and then fight on.

What i do have a problem with is Joe Cortez officiating at any level, he is IMO the worst referee boxing has handling world title fights. These last few years he has been ridiculous in alot of his decisions and its time to blood new referees for that level. Cortez rides Mayweather almost as willingly as Tilleman rode Ottke during the Reid fight.

Cortez is an awful referee and should not be officiating at this level and especially not for his friend Mayweather.
Ortiz got desperate and shouldn't have headbutted.
Ortiz is incredibly inexperienced and should have been more professional and kept his gloves up at all times.

Its a shame hes such a piece of shit or it would have been pretty awesome, especially if the ref actually said loud and clear "FIGHT" which wasn't a word the ref said at all.
