FAKE,FAKE,FAKE,FAKE!!!!
The fight was a combine both fighter and the refree were in agreement that the fight should have ended in that way at the round 4!
Clue number 1 : watch the video at 1:01 the refree turn his head away from the fighter to the judges pure WWE style so he has an excuse not seeing the sucker punch that Floyd landed!
Clue number 2 : watch the video at 2:25 Ortiz in his corner instead of being angry and furious toward Floyd because the way he got sucker punched he is instead happy to stand up smile and hug Mayweather!
Staged SHIT like this is another reason why boxing is DEAD!

I always root for Maywhether especially when hes fighting a foreigner. But...

Paq will knock him out-- 100%

That's why the fight will never materialize.

 ::)

who has manny fought over 140, who?

Manny or FMW, flip a coin and one fights berto and the outher fights martinez.   then, one doesn't make it to their mega fight.

It's an interesting fight because Manny never fought a guy like Floyd  ,and Floyd never fought a guy like Manny.
I would say Floyd by a close or split decision.

The Mexican is an idiot.

Time was in.  Even if you don't know it's in, you don't count on the referee to protect you.  The guy goes in to touch gloves (not required), then goes to give the guy a fucking hug in the middle of a fight (not required), then backs off and STILL isn't prepared to box.  Deserved to get cold-cocked imo.

Why did he look to the ref after the left hook instead of defending himself?

His crazy headbutting rage completely diminished, definately passive/aggressive.

Sexually submissive no doubt.

1. Mayweather is the heel of boxing. All you retards saying "fuck mayweather, etc" ...are just that. Retards.
2. What part of "Protect yourself at all times" do people not understand?
3. The Ortiz headbutt was blatant and intentional as fuck...and get got knocked the fuck out because of it.

& last but not least .... Mayweather walks away with $30,000,000 payday and laughing all the way.

Yes x2.  It wasn't like Mayweather one-two'd him.  He hit him once, the Mexican looks to the ref for (I don't even know what for), then Mayweather hits him again.  Get your hands up dude!

Mayweather quotes

“This was another unbelievable performance. A lot of people want to know what happened. There were a couple head butts. Sh*t happens in the sport of boxing.

“Protect yourself at all times''.

“You wanted to see a knockout and that is what I gave you''.

“When victor Ortiz was nine years old, I was dominating the sport of boxing''.

“This was an unbelievable training camp. This camp was blood sweat and tears. Being up all night. Running seven or eight miles. I deserved it''.

“I was always told to protect yourself at all times. My mouth was split open. I said keep it clean. Once you touch gloves, it is go time''.

“We came together to fight. It is fight time. You want to do me dirty and then two minutes later you want to be my friend? This is the hurting business''.

“Without the fourth round, he was going to get knocked out anyway. I was fighting stronger. I was keeping my composure and sticking to the game plan''.

“We were breaking him down. I listened to what my corner said''.

“Floyd Mayweather isn’t ducking and dodging anybody. If he [Ortiz] wants it, he can have it [a rematch]''.

“If he [Ortiz] felt like it was a fluke and it didn’t get done right the first time, I would do it again''.

“He was slowly breaking down as each round went. He was going to go anyway''.

“Once you put me in that squared circle, I am home''.

“I am never going to get a fair shake, but whoever you put in front of me; they can’t beat me''.

“I just say what goes around, comes around. Things happen in this sport and like I said, they say protect yourself at all times.

“Pacquiao is famous because he is attached to my name. When they say Pacquiao, they say that’s the guy they are trying to get to fight Floyd Mayweather. When they say Floyd Mayweather – they say the greatest ever.

“How can you [Pacquiao] offer me anything? I do the offering. He has to get his business in order. When he fights, he gives up 30 percent of his check, I get 100 percent.”

Good stuff.  8)

The day Manny is willing to submit to random urine testing and blood testing 7-10 days out from the fight, Floyd v. Manny will happen. And Manny will put up a game performance, but all his fans will be bitterly disappointed and looking for excuses after Floyd whoops little Manny handily.

Anyone who knows boxing (not Nintendo) knows that Mayweather will destroy Pacquiao!  Mayweather is in a different league.

Mayweather dominated the fight and deserved the win.  He was knoacking Ortiz out one way or another.

I love how we will title the thread Floyd Mayweather = No class but Ortiz can intentioanlly head butt the guy and he is the one of the two with class?  If you're going to fight dirty, be prepared to get knocked out that way.

Say what you want about Floyd, but he is entertaining, the fastest boxer alive, and also one of the most technical and precise boxers alive.  I don't care how he is as a person, he's not my friend lol.  I care that he is a great boxer which he is.

BOXING IS DEAD!
This interview is disturbing ! Ortiz and his camp are happy how the fight ended!
FAKE!FAKE!FAKE!FAKE!
The match was combine both the fighter and the refree knew already how the fight would end!
They are happy to foul all the stupids that pay for this farce and they have the courage to ask for a rematch!
They have no shame!
Now you wonder why young generation prefere MMA over boxing!
Boxing nowdays is just like WWE :a farce for naive and stupid fans that like to be fouled!
I AM DONE WITH THIS SHIT!  >:(

FMW's KO of ortiz was fair and within the rules.

FINALLY soemone told it like it is about that fool Larry Merchant- here is a guy who never boxed or fought and pretends to be an expert on boxing just because he's been commentating on the sport for years- doesntr make him an expert.
Merchant is always ragging on boxers, putting them down etc yet he never set foot in the ring.

im glad FMW finally did what other boxers shld have done a long logn tiem ago and that is put that fucker Merchant in his place- the arrogant  fucker

I think Mayweather did the right thing, the rule says protect yourself at all times. And the other guy headbutted Mayweather...if you do that you better be ready.

i'm not particularly big on fmw's interviews but that was nice.

the fight he needs to take is sergio martinez at 151 (you have dehydrate him past 154, given he does carry 160 knockout power), which he has fought in that range when he couldn't make weight at 147.  the movie critics can't say shit if he won this match up, which is on another level vs fighting a bob arum tomato can fighting, hype machine manny.

1. This was off the back of a VERY DELIBERATE headbutt
2. Protect yourself at ALL times.
You nogs are missing the point, this is a gentlemans sport, Ortiz offered up a sincere apology, only because Mayweather was still bitching about the butt, and in an obvious display of cowardice, laned two undefended cheap shots to win the bout.  Boxing finally died this day. No class leftt. Long Live MMA, Long Live UFC
