The problem is - How do you come to the conclusion that he will knock Floyd out, when;
1. Floyd has never been down
2. Floyd has an excellent chin
3. Has outstanding conditioning
4. Is one of the greatest defensive fighters whoever lived and rarely engages in fierce exchanges (because he doesn't want to/need to).
the antidote to fmw is sergio martinez or paul williams at a catch weight, which he won't do, given he will pass on a big man with a high work rate like williams and a ultra fast big puncher like martinez. both men can make 147 (martinez more 151 pushing it) or 153, which fmw can fight at either weight.
i always thought skill level with fmw until i noticed the tale-of-the-tape, which showed ortiz to have shorter arms than fmw. something i didnt expect. i'm assuming he has a reach advantage over 90% or better over the course of his career or equal like judah. he cherry picks, so there is something he looks for in his opponents, as of late.
that being said, i see why Emanuel stewart was so adamant that hearns reach and right would get through fmw's defense at some point if they came up together. and i don't think fmw is a good as leonard to trade with hearns as he did at 147. just some extra stuff.
