2011 Olympia - Evan Contopani did not compete
« on: September 18, 2011, 11:10:44 AM »
I noticed on all the Olympia threads that there has been little to no mention of Evan Centopani.  The guy is young, placed top 5 Arnold, and has not nearly maxed out his physique.  I think he would have done well in this years O and could potentially win in the future and in my opinion would be a better representative for bodybuilding than Phil.

It's possible.  The sponsorship will be more attracted to him than athletes like Kai, Vic or Wolf. He is more marketable. I happen to think Phil has still maintained a very squeaky clean image. He comes across well in interviews and speaks decently and avoids the cocky showmanship some of his fellow athletes can't seem to resist. While I feel Phil is marketable and a face we will see for a long time, I definitely agree with you that Evan has potential.

Evan treats BB as a hobby.  I don't think he has the win at all cost mentality to chase Phil.

I almost forgot about him. He looked incredible earlier this year. I would like to see a new rivalry between him and heath. That would be good for the "sport".

Evan would have to compete more than once every 5 years. He lacks something...balls? Intensity? I don't know...

I don't see why people bill scaredy cat Evan as a future O, he can't take out the big guys when they are on, and he avoids them. His lines are average, and nobody states why he would be better than Phil as Mr. O. You have a guy who is OCD and has had issues with stalking vs Phil the balla, whose got the best arms in the business, plays piano, drives a Bentley Continental GT SS, and is a Weider posterboy, and is well spoken.

dude gets grainy like yates but only improves every 3 yrs or so.  i'm guessing if kluco can get rid of the glaze he'll past even at some point, just better structure.

I don't think you should bank on the next great thing...ie Kluco. Remember Trey Brewer???? Dude was crowned the Mr. O when he was 19 by the masses. Please, Kluco needs to earn his pro card and then win a small show before he can be spoken of in the same breath as Phil, Vic, Dennis and Kai...please  ::)

Pay attention Kuclo is a PRO!!

Didn't say he is on the same level as Phil, Kai, etc.. He has potential. I see him at the gym often, always work hard and lifts heavy, very basic. Just need conditioning, very good structure and shape and he's 6 foot.

BOOMMMMMM, TEAM KUCLO IN YOUR FACE 8)

in this day and age pupils....the faster you jump on hgh and insulina the better you wil do in bodybuild,,infact let me tell you a secret here,,

in this day and age ....you dont train with out hgh and insulina in system,,

the all bodybuild cult has changed phase to mainly hgh and insulina...the aas are realy the finishing touch now day lol thts the sad part ,,notice how all shoulders are FULL! ALL DELTS ARE VERY VERY FULL WHILE LOW LOW BODYFAT...notice how everything is 3 dimentional on everyone yet lack LACK the superb condition ,,

bodybuulding has got to a point where 200lb bodybuild in condition is small....unless he is 5'4,,

bodybuilding has got to a point where 220 lb bodybuilder is small!

its madness...and! the kits of gh fly like warm buns out of the elfs fatories

basically today ....if you dont have enough for 15 iu a day gh ....you dont even need to think about being bodybuilder in high competetive level,,

it became a big big mess

gh15 approved

This. 26 years old, he's already a freak and may not have a TON of room to grow, but with the mass he does add he'll be a high ranking pro soon.

I don't think Evan is scared at all.  He competes to win.  He has always been that way.  He also gets in better dry hard condition than 3 of the top 5 at the O this year.  Evan could be Mr O and if he keeps improving he may be.  I agree with what someone said above though, a rivalry with him and Phil would be nice though.  I still can't believe Phil is Mr O.

Dude is scared, compete to win my eye...then you go for the big dogs. Phil is more pleasing to the eye...Evan doesn't have the fire in his belly, look at his eyes...he'd played the bottom bitch with his NPC friend at schmoe parties.

Come on, you know you want to see him at one of those "touch and schmoe" events...

Look at the man's eyes...no fire, empty...he was the passive aggressive fat kid, and inside he still is.
