What type of people go to air shows, drag races, events of the like?

There have been several examples of spectator deaths as of late. I have never had any interest in attending one of these events. What say you?

I go to drag races , never seen any bad accidents or deaths , lots of cars breaking lol

I ve been to many airshows but then i was in the Air Force 10 years., theyre not bad they just have a certain kind of people that attend those.

What is the appeal of drag races?

It is literally watching two cars go from point A to point B and nothing besides. I don't get the attraction at all.

Air shows I can understand, although it doesn't appeal to me personally.

Air shows I can understand, although it doesn't appeal to me personally.

Boring as hell. A friend of mine dragged me to the "races" one time. A bunch of shitty looking cars speeding around a big dirt track. I was coughing up dirt for the next few weeks. It was fucken loud to.

Was in a drag race once, the audience were very close to the starting line. Saw a big crash, thought the guy is dead now but survived with little injuries.

I've gone to several air shows and racing events, never really felt like it was dangerous.  If you look at how many of these events take place against how many get hurt, injuries and death of spectators is probably pretty rare.

I go to these types of events.....went to the Ft. Lauderdale Air Shows a few times, been at the drag races, Monster Jams, demolition derbies.  All kinds of people go to these events from all walks of life.

I'd like to know this as well. Auto races in general are pretty dang boring.
