Federations

Hello all.

In a different thread, someone advised me that there are several different powerlifting federations. 

Which one, in your opinion, is the best or most respected?  For a newbie like me, which one would be best to consider joining?

oohhh, this question would set off a shit storm if asked on different boards.

My advice = find out which fed have the most meets in your area, then join that one.

also consider tested vs. non-tested feds if that matters to you.

That's good advice, Personally , I'd go with a IPF member organization, or IPA or USPF.

SPF is the most controversial right now .

I agree with which feds have the most meets in your area. I like 100% RAW and the APFPF myself.

Thanks.  I had looked on that website before but hadn't found this particular page.  Very informative.

This board is a far cry from the G&O ...  even with my newbie-style questions, not one person has called me "tiny tit" yet

the a.p.f. seems to cover all bases,they have the aapf which is drug tested,and the a.p.f. which is not,and they have unlimited raw and single ply div. and a world body,the w.p.c. not every fed has a world body
