It is all a matter of perspective. And that "physical decrepitude" you speak of can be staved off/minimized for a lot longer than most think, provided that you are committed to a healthy lifestyle including proper food intake (diet) and physical activity (exercise).

The usual things Longer to recover from injury's... a few joint pains here and there from ridiculous heavy trainings in the 1990s-2000s etc, plan literary everything these days on schedule instead of the past hit and miss throw caution to the wind, time management alot more structured than years past and the obvious...when your Kids are Looking @ you @ eye level when it didn't seem that long ago they were stumbling around learning to walk.

My teacher in 4th grade I think (I was 9 or so) used to smoke in the classroom, one after the other. He did open up a small window, though. Today a teach who would do that would be hanged from the nearest tree...
