That's exactly what's wrong with modern bodybuilding , it is a fucking joke .

The inherent problem with modern bodybuilding is , DRUGS. Now the sport for the most part has always used drugs but the advent of GH & Insulin have caused physique to be pushed to the limits of their capacity in terms of size , and this comes at the expense of aesthetics , balance & proportion and staying within their structure

modern drugs have ruined the sport per sa because it allows guys to be heavier & heavier and not only at the expense symmetry/aesthetics and proportions but as well as conditioning , but this is what we have for better or for worse , we can argue on what it should be , what it could be or what it ought to be , but it is , Pandora's box is open and it's not going back

lol.  this is another one of those arnold-esque poses that ronnie started hitting at his peak 98-99 2001-3.  he started hitting a side chest pose later on that was the only pose imo that truly showed how huge he was all around

I disagree
I think the problem is  the IFBB judging criteria  not the drugs.

The criteria is what it's always been , size , density , dryness , balance , proportion , posing & presentation and who had the best combination of all of these won.

before insulin and GH guys weren't as big and their frames didn't pay the price for it all that extra size along with conditioning

If that's the criteria , how do you explain this  ???
