Gays in the military is a horrible idea,closeted or not. Hussein Obama has never served this country (nor was he born here). The military isn't governed by the same laws civilians are, for damn good reason. Gays and females do nothing but cause problems in an army.

About fucking time. I had some gay and lesbian comrades and it was sad they couldn't serve openly. Wed have our military ball or other functions and theyd always be alone or invite their "cousin".  I am really happy for them. Thank you Congress, Senate and of course President Obama. As with most things as time passes well realize how archaic this law was. God Bless America

Armed forces, of all nations, used to have 'bantam' units comprised of less tall enlistees. You know, for short skirmishes. And they were not armoured units, just small arms
