Okay...
1.Inherited a dying economy with Unemployment not reaching the double digits as it was rapidly approaching before the stimulus slowed (not completely stopped) the bleeding. Yes, 9.1% unemployment, but you must admit it could have easily been much worse.
The stimulus did nothing but kick the can down the road, it essentially just gave the banks what they wanted, more money. There's absolutely no evidence that it unemployment would have been higher or sustained at the levels it has been if there was no stimulus. In fact while it could have spiked into the 20% range it would have fell much quicker and we would have been on the way into recovery at this point. Instead now we are facing a much worse criss than we were facing in 2008 and a larger recession is coming. It's this complete misunderstanding of the markets that got us into this mess.
2. Basically ended our involvement in Iraq
We have 44,000 troops as of July 2011 still in Iraq, I don't see how how that's "ended our invovlement".
3. USA safe under his watch
The us was safe under Bush's watch for 7 years, so what?
4. Saved Detroit car industry
Saved as in pumped money into insolvent companies that should have failed in a free market system? He didn't save it, the American people's bank accounts did.
5. Bin Laden dead.
Where's the body?
6. DADT repealed
Woopty doo.
7. Aided in the liberation of Libya without one US casualty.
Went to war with a nation without a declration of war from congress. Good job at circumventing the constitution. He should be strung up for treason.
8. Taxes are lowest since the 50s, while re-passing passing Bush corporate tax cuts in bi-partisan work with Republicans (yet they still won't hire).
And yet government spending, growth and deficits are higher than they've ever been and the national debt is 15 trillion dollars, over 100% of GDP. Great job.
9. Passed healthcare reform that could have been much better with a public option provided by government to combat the ridiculous premiums of private insurance companies, but covers pre-existing conditions.
A health care so great over half the states are suing the federal government over it's non-constitutionality. A health care bill so awesome that it will cost small business millions of dollars in additional paperwork and regulations stifling growth and job creation. Good job once again.
10. Governing in the most toxic, broken Congress in history.
And pandering to their every whim. Is that something you actually are proud of him for? hahahaha.
Do I think Obama is perfect? No. But he has done well considering the obstacles he has had to face.
You obviously give him way more credit in the things he's done because if you look at the facts of it all he's turned this country into a worse shit hole than it was under any other president ever in the history of this country. You should be ashamed of yourself but I know you won't because you're too fucking stupid.
