Got a new job and had to leave my $30 mth warehouse gym for the $120 mth foo foo Equinox gym.    No choice due to location/time.

I used to workout at a community center that has those dumbbells and they always get loose, but they were nice and comfortable......it's hard to spot these types of dumbbells anymore in Gyms these days

LOL I'm not even Bullshitting when I say TheTrueVictor is the biggest guy in our gym!  Dude walks around like a mini-version of Cutler, that pic doesn't even do him any justice!

That sounds familiar. My previous gym was a weightlifting club with 3 or 4 series of db's, an allen was included.
In most gyms everything is rubber coated, like if there's something wrong with... dropping plates  ;D

lol........ahh!!!!!!!.....the sweet sounds of plates dropping. there are none like it.........I went to a gold's gym one time and there was a sign posted on the wall with a warning to Gym members: "dropping dumbbells will suspend your gym membership. a 2nd and 3rd offense will terminate your membership"

It's sad that Gold's has turned into a Planet Fitness like gym. Joe Gold should have sold his business to someone who loves the iron.

Which Gold's Gym are you talking about because there is one in Altamonte Springs AND Orlando. The one in Orlando I find better than the one in Altamonte Springs.
