according to ND (flex magazie parrot) he started lifting when he was 12 years old kid

last year i was 31 and he said he was 5 years older which means this year he is about 37 years old.. and in a recent thread wiggs made about lee haney ND mentioned he had started lifting in 1986 ..

did he lie about his age or about the time he started to train.. the first seems more logical and also i personally dont think he ever entered a gym.. half his life was spent writing about dorian on GB and the other half reading about him in flex magazine so when was he training??..

In and of itself, what's hard to believe about starting to train at 12?  I only wish I had asked for a power cage, Olympic barbell, good bench and weights Christmas 1990 instead of bullshit Gameboy stuff (WTF was I thinking?!  I should have at least asked for a Genesis ).
