Author Topic: Did Coleman's Triceps shrink as the rest of him got bigger? (Read 9750 times)

I was looking at 98/99 photos and 05/06 photos and the later ones seem to have smaller triceps, anyone else notice this?

Hes never had outstanding triceps, theyre there they were never Heathlike.

They were big and full---they were never lacking in the FDB pose...it's that the outer heads were not very prominant.

his tries were on par with his bis, it's because his bis and delts are also at the same level that his tries didn't stand out like they did on levrone

Oh brother, yes Ronnie had awesome 23s but his tris were never on par with biceps....please show me pics...onstage, where it counts.

Im on my iPhone, but you can look at those 98-Infinity FDB of Ronnie Coleman...
They weren't lacking in that shot like Arnold's were...But Ronnie's tricep shape on the lateral heads wasn't as full as Heath's or Flex's or Levrone's---it's why he lost the tricep pose to Badell in the challenge round...but when he put them suckas up in the FDB, they were full and round.

Ronnie had huge full tris, but yes his lateral head didn't stand out apart from the whole huge mass as much as some others.. still huge tris which looked great from just about any angle.

ronnie doesn't have the gene to build horse-shoe like triceps, especially the lateral head, just like the muscletech guy, Jeramy Freeman

I always wondered on his training them as well...In the Unbelievable he would rep out real quick the skull crushers...vs Aaron Baker who was slow and very deliberate and Flex who was mid speed, but focused on the contraction...

So, I've always wondered if his training as had anything to do with it as---meaning a factor...because he was also pec heavy.

Ronnie had great triceps they just looked weird in the side triceps pose. 05' is when his triceps started going bad. Here are a few shots of his triceps when they were full.

I think Ronnie not having a wife to shoot oil in harder to reach places made him load up on easier to reach body parts. Flex has said that he had over 100 areas to spot inject his oil. I'm sure his wife was a busy woman most days/nights. As is Jay Cutlers wife/assistant. Sure Ronnie had someone to do it for him, but in those middle of the night wake up to go to the bathroom and get a burst of energy which turns into a 45 minute posing session, he didn't have someone to site inject 24/7.
