His back among the best right now , not on Yates or Ronnie's level and never will be due to width issues , Dorian and Ronnie have everything he had and more.

Nope but Ronnie's back is better than Phils , Phils is probably the best now but he's still lacking compared to Dorian and Ronnie

Maybe im the only one but i think Dennis's back destroys phil... atleast the upper portion. There is nothing he can do to lower his lats though. His back lat spreads did look fuller this year though.

Look closely, and you see that his delts overpower his traps and other back muscles...and of course, it stops midway and then he has a big hole---a big chunk of missing muscle where others have thick meaty detail.

Dennis has a great structure, he just doesn't build upon it. And I will say this, if Jay had a back to match Ronnie's, hell, if it matched Phil's in terms of detail, it would be game over...everybody should go home.

His back is amongst the best of all time for sure. Not sure if better than Ronnies or Dorians, his BDB looks better though than theirs though.

And one thing is for sure, Phil is killing everyone in that pic.

heath has a great rdb but if we're going to talk about backs, that's one in two poses. the other one is not so great imo. not wide which is a key aspect however you look at it.

ronnie has both poses down.
