5htp for sure, and even though you may not want to, get out of the house a bit. some fresh air, walk around, dont drive, you may be a bit loopy still. eat something. i used to eat a gallon of icecream as it seemed the only thing i could handle the next day. water. be around people but not family, might feel too self conscious (unless they were rolling with you)
beyond just sleeping it all off, when i tried to be a little more active the next day i dealt better than just laying around. and i seemed to be able to get back to sleep easier as well.
