Is the Burqa for Frumpy looking women?
« on: September 26, 2011, 09:56:34 AM »
Awhile back, I had a discussion with a woman I know who is converting/converted to Islam...her man is Muslim (a convert). We discussed the Burqa , and she said that she might wear one, except without the head covering, but she may wear a scarf. She said that a Burqa or basically any covering is to hide a female's body so that you as a man are not turned on or focusing on a woman's body. it is to maintain a shapeless form. I told her, that any type of covering that she wears you can see her curves, so a damn burqa ain't gonna help with not noticing her "attributes". And this can be said for some women who wear them. But, I've notice that many who wear them are frumpy looking...and it almost becomes an excuse for said women to let themselves go, after all, no man is gonna be looking at your body, correct?

Also, why the Hell do you have all these Arab bbers posing shirtless or in their thongs (all not on stage, or even on stage), but women can't? That's ass backwards...

There's not many things I dislike more than a western person "converted" to islam....and I don't like those "born again" christians either..

Well, her man is and so she decided to do it...I could care less as long she is the same person as before.

I think the burqa is for those ultra-conservative, Taliban stone-agers. I think the rest of the female Muslim world does cover up, to varying degrees, but not to the burqa's extent.     ???

People, brainwashed by religion, are pitiful. Getting on your knees 5 times a day to worship a false God is a form of brainwashing.

I think she really meant some type cover, cause I can't see her in a burqa.

I saw this one lady with one on getting out of her car and the bottom of it came up. She had the prettiest milky colored thighs I had ever seen.

Even though I grew up in a Muslim household, I've always been very much against the burka and women wearing head scarves..

But I will say that you would be very surprised by what you find under there.... Some are practically at super model standards and walk around in the sexiest/trashiest lingerie under their all black attire.

The most hypocritical thing I've seen are girls wearing a head scarf and then walking around with super tight jeans with their g strings hanging out, at that point what the hell is the purpose of the head scarf!
