This^^^^^ Inzer, Titan, and others would love to get rid of raw lifting all together and almost succeeded but failed and now raw lifting has made a huge comeback but still shirted lifting is much more popular. There isn't very much $ in powerlifting at all, and there is no such thing despite what anyone says as a "professional powerlifter" a complete bullshit term. The equipment brings $ to the sport, so that is why it is there and so popular.

So true. How many of these 'accident' videos do we have to watch before we see the spotting team actually 'spot' and save the lifter. These spotters must be all union guys.
