For evidence, compare Glenn Beck's rally to the animals who showed up at Jon Stewart's joke of a rally a few weeks later. Even though the Beck rally had 3x the amount of attendees ( and he didn't have to bus anyone in to swell his numbers) there were no arrests, there was no trash left on the ground and everyone quietly left when they were supposed to.

The Stewart rally was a total clusterfuck. The thread is in the archives somewhere on here. You should pull it up.

This nonsense on Wall Street isn't in the same Universe as any Tea Party rally that I've ever seen or heard about.

Every account I can find of this protest says that it has been peaceful. You're just pissy because they have a message you don't like. I don't like part of the message, but part of it is good. Ending corporate welfare and shit like that.

A lot of times I agree with what your saying, but this just isn't showing enough. All we have are claims that these people aren't doing anything but you can't tell shit from these videos.

Maybe they were ordered to disperse from a particular area, maybe spitting on the cops, etc., IDK. But the clips I'm seeing are awfully unclear and leave a lot to wonder.

If we're just going to take it for granted that they are doing shit they shouldn't, we also shouldn't forget how many police departments have been busted sending in undercover protesters that end up being agent provocateurs and starting problems. I think NYPD has been caught doing that too. Just saying...

Didn't really mean it like that, just that I don't want to take either side for granted without better info. Those clips are really shoddy.

I know about the undercovers in large crowds and have even gotten to meet a couple last year at a big street fair. But, I wasn't aware they are starting shit. If they are, I agree it's a problem and those cops should be fired without question.
